This is my bathroom and this picture was taken about 5 minutes ago.

I spent the whole of the afternoon cleaning up the kitchen in our apartment. I did two loads of dishes, mopped the kitchen & hallway floors, organized our cupboards, cleaned the sink and counters, and took out the trash. Needless to say the kitchen was spotless. Five minutes after I finished one of my roommates came home commented on how nice the kitchen looked and then proceeded to make herself dinner. As she made herself a sandwich she managed to get mayonnaise all over the counter and didn't rinse off her dishes and then left to go to work. I held my tongue even though it frustrated me.

She came home from work and went into our room to get ready to go back out. When I came back in a few minutes later our bathroom looked like it does in the above picture. The left side of the picture is hers and the right side is mine. And the sad thing is some of the stuff on my side is hers - the wet washcloth, the curling iron, the large bottle of lotion. And not only is she taking over my side, she left the cupboard open and I couldn't get through to the bathroom. Also there is hair clips and other odds and ends on the floor which I have managed to trip over and step on. And odd creams and pastes end up in the sink.

I hate complaining, and in all honesty I like my roommate a lot. But she is very inconsiderate of the people she lives with. I know that I am not the only person in our apartment that feels this way, but she hasn't been home long enough to talk to about it.
