I have had some interesting discussions lately about religion and various beliefs. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and am very proud of my beliefs. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have and the faith I have in my Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ.
One of the greatest things I have gotten out of these conversations is how much I respect what other people of different faith's believe. I think many people often find fault with various religious views of other churchs. I find it fascinating because if you consider the fact that what a person believes makes up a lot of who a person is and that understanding what they believe is a big part of understanding who a person truly is.
I am grateful for my friends of different faiths and the things that each of them teaches me. I am grateful for differences and what I can learn from others and the effect they have on my life. I am also extremely grateful for my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for people who have come before and made it possible for me to believe the things that I believe and to have the knowledge that is the foundation of my life.
