This is a picture I took one morning on the side of the highway on my way to work.
Tonight I had the chance to sit and discuss with two of my friends. The conversation varied as the night progressed. We talked of trials, friendships, loss, faith, goals, and basically life. There are a few things have stayed with me and have left me pondering - the idea that even as imperfect as we all are as human beings, that Heavenly Father trusts us and loves us so much that he allows us to be His tools; instruments in His hands.
We talked of being positive and letting others know the things that we find that are good in them. Sharing our gratitude. So in case I haven't said it lately ... thank you! I am lucky to have some of the most amazing people in my life. My friends help me laugh at myself, listen when I need to cry or vent, help me gain perspective when my logic isn't all there, help me fix immodest bathing suits, point out how that boy was no way good enough, send hana hanas that always cause me to smile, make fun of my laugh, listen to my constant chatter, and hug me when a hug is the one thing I need. Thank you my dear friends for being who you are, and thank you Heavenly Father for sending them into my life.
