This is a picture that I took on June 11, 2005 at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Last night I watched an interview that was done by Renee Zellweger back in 2003. Some of the things she said really had me thinking. She said that her biggest turn off is people with lack of compassion and empathy. Immediately after I finished watching this interview a clip was on tv about Nicole Kidman getting into an
argument with a rude photographer at the premiere of her new film
Bewitched. The photographer was saying rude comments to the actress who was already in a high emotional state due to the death of a close friend earlier that day.
How do we treat those we come in contact with? Do we treat them with empathy and kindness? They say the true test of a person's character is how he treats those who can not benefit him in any way. While on my treat I met two people that I had a great deal of respect for. One treated me in a less than polite way. I was considered a bother. The other treated me with a great deal of kindness and caused me to feel important. Needless to say I came out of the second encounter feeling excited and happy while the first encounter had me feeling stupid.
I hope that each day as I go to work, to spend time with my friends, shopping, etc . that I treat those around me with kindness. I am going to make a greater effort at not saying unkind things about others wether or not it is to their face or behind their back. May we each strive to be a little better and try to treat others with the same amount of kindness that each of us would want to be treated with.

AG! That picture looks like he isn't wearing anything! :)
Let us all speak kind words. The older I get the more I realize that being kind will get you further in life. Speaking harshly or unkind words only cause people to slow down and take a stance and not move. Plus it is always better to walk away from someone leaving them with a smile.

LOL! You know how I like naked men! ;oP

-
Uh, sick.

-
LOL! I love how this became all about the picture .... trust me he is wearing clothes! (Well ... at least a speedo)

Geez, JRA, what the guy was wearing or wasn't didn't even cross my mind.
"They say the true test of a person's character is how he treats those who can not benefit him in any way."
What a profound statement. It's similar to what is said about what people do when noone's looking.

BTW, AG. Do you realize that we are all naked underneath our clothes?
-
-
-
Yes I do David. But to be honest I think clothes are one of those things that helps us to hide some of our insecurities.
And we know that JRA has a thing for being naked ... since she was a stripper in a former life! ;o)

Hey, I resemble that remark! :)

Tis true ... would love to hear his comments.
Do you know who the almost naked man is? It is Michael Phelps, the Olympic Gold Medalist. He regularly is lacking in clothing.
-
-
-
So that's Michael Phelps. Just didn't know what he looked like.
So what is he doing rubbing his own breasts?

Will you be updating your blog with a new picture any time soon?
Everytime I pull up your blog now, somebody walks by my desk and sees that naked guy and says, "Oh David, I hardly knew ya."

-
LOL! There you go David!

So, here are my comments...
Numero Uno has restricted my access to blogger.com. I can't post comments while there, and, unfortunately, that's when I read.
Yeah, every time a page that has blogger.com anywhere in the address, I get the "you're looking at nekkid people" ACCESS DENIED screen. It's bright red and luminous for ALL TO SEE. I don't even get the benefit of possibly seeing nekkid people.
Unless, of course, I'm on AG's blog. There's nekkid-ness all over this thing.
Maybe that's why there are so many comments... I should just blog: NEKKID for my next entry and see how many comments I can generate.
You're all perverts.
